  1. you guys say that this is how it should be done and this and that but how disappointed would you be come time the game comes out and it is exactly as you said it should be and you know everything that is going to happen. that would be one ****ty experience. i say dont try to put story ideas into the devs head cause that could only screw up the plot and leave us all disappointed.
  2. I definitely agree with being able to wield a lightsaber at the beginning of the game, as well as even more enhanced customization if it. Though the lack of one was an understandable piece of the previous 2 KOTOR stories, it is just a lot more fun to run around with a humming energy blade. It also seems that a KOTOR III is a while off, though I wish it was already here. When it does come out, because if it doesn't there will be many screaming Star Wars fans, I would like to see a little more of a resolution at the end of the game. Both KOTOR I and KOTOR II raised questions that were not answered. Thats my opinion anyway. Any other takers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why are we assuming obsidian is even doing it? and why couldint this game be kotor 3? if their is any news i havent heard please inform me from what iv read it seems to fit the bill though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By Alien game, they mean the Alien series, not just a game based in outer space. and in all likeliness, obsidian will do kotor 3 if it happens
  3. after reading the interview on the obsidian homepage, feargus did mention how they are currently working on several projects that they cant talk about because the publisher hasnt annnounced it yet. i wouldnt be surprised is K3 is in there.
  4. also on obsidians homepage, they state the they are now hiring for a console based action rpg. i know this could be anything, but with the post of this recent article, it makes you think.
  5. i think our best hope is to wait and see what that star wars 2007 game is
  6. were talking half life for the pc right. the xbox version was really bad.
  7. what i think LA might be doing is perhaps waiting for a script from a bunch of different companies and seeing which has the best one before they go and let it be made.
  8. Yes, rumors mean NOTHING !!! What does mean something, probably the most significant thing on this thread is the email reply to another forum members inquiry of Obsidian spokes person Feargus Urquhart who said Obsidian IS NOT currently making Kotor 3. I find that statement very troubling 18 months after Kotor 2 s release on X Box and Kotor 3 is not even starting production ??? Its one thing to speculate the reason the game wasnt at E3 was because its in early production and their was nothing yet to show BUT its quite another thing to find out no plans to make Kotor 3 have even started yet!!! It is enough for me to give up hoping for any information from Obsidian after Feargus email. But to me this means we need to pressure Lucas Arts to make a damm decision. Excuse me for swearing a little but Im angry about this. If Obsidian has not started making Kotor 3 so long after Kotor 2 came out, then it is not Obsidian holding things up, its Lucas Arts who owns the rights to the game. They need to make a decision for a game that will probably take a year & a half for Obsidian to make AFTER Lucas Arts says yes....if & when they do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i agree. i sent an email to lucasarts. i doubt i will get a response but well see. i wouldnt make any sense for them at all to not coninue the series.
