actually, this was probably one of the most super helpful (read, informative) posts I've seen since this forum's inception. thanks. for myself, I could care less about the class deck and organized play structure. When I mentioned class decks before, what I really meant is that I wanted the choices of all the different characters (and was willing to pay for it). Whether I could export a character from one game to the next or participate in organized play online mattered very little to me. I expect to play this game 1P or with a known group of 2-3 friends (assuming async multiplayer is an option - I can see that being difficult with blessings and other effects without a lot of scripted actions - e.g. option to "always allow" other party members to trigger my blessings/weapon effects/etc. on their turn.) I agree I just want the character cards in the game I couldn't care less about Pearl of Wisdom et al. -

That's awesome news! Also, have you any plans to do Class decks too down the line? -
http://enemyslime.com/2015/08/michael-has-a-swell-time-at-pax-friday/ Pathfinder – Obsidian While I am a longtime fan of tabletop RPGs, I must admit to not really being a fan of card games. So when I went to visit Obsidian’s Pathfinder, based of the very popularPathfinder Adventure Card Game, I wasn’t going in with high expectations. I was pleased, however, to find that I did not come prepared to give this iteration ofPathfinder a fair shake. In development for iOS and Android, it is a single-player action card game placing you in charge of a group of heroes who are tasked to track down a villain, encountering monsters, traps, magic weapons and others in the form of cards. This title actually surprised me with how fun a genre that I don’t normally enjoy could be, having enough complexity to be engaging without being overwhelming, and actually ended up being one the most enjoyable titles I got to see today. The game certainly has a learning curve, even if you’re already familiar withPathfinder rules, but what starts out as feeling overwhelmingly complex rather quickly became challenging but intuitive. Certainly thanks to the knowledgeable guidance I received during the demonstration I was able to navigate the game’s options without confusion or consternation, and after half a game I started to feel like I could navigate the game on my own. The demo I played had two playable characters whom you control in tandem, both of whom felt like they played differently, challenging me to adapt new strategies for the same challenges. I can’t comment on how closely it mirrors the tabletop card game, but to my surprise, this is a title I am looking forward to hearing more on as they draw close to an expected fall release date.

Want to play the game now!!! Looks reasonably complete. I wonder if Obsidian are letting perfection get in the way of possible? As long as you have Rise of the runelords base and AD1 complete get it one sale, you can fix bugs develop additional sets later As somebody who has been play testing the heck out of this, I can tell you it isn't ready for prime time yet. The core box scenarios are pretty good in terms of bugs, though we keep stumbling on some. It is super frustrating when you know that you should be able to win the scenario and you don't because of a bug. Trust me. I got through Skinsaw Murders once and Nathan (the lead designer) was floored. He hadn't been able to do that yet without the game crashing. Turns out, he was right. I haven't been able to do that again. So while the game is coming along rapidly and the gameplay is really fun, this isn't anywhere ready for prime time yet. It isn't the quest for perfection. -Lisa
