Hello. I recently decided to play kotor2 again but this time i have a new graphic's card, a Sapphire x1950 pro. Whenever a movie is done playing it then proceeds into the game with very heavy glitches (it looks like severe artifacting you would get from an overheating card). However, my card is not overheating and there is nothing wrong with it (i can play any other game fine). My hardware..Athlon 64 3000, 1gb ram, above mentioned v.card, onboard AC'97. Now, i used to play this game fine with exactly the same system but with a GeForce 6600GT inside, so i'm guessing its a video card issue. I am running the latest patch and the high res movie/music patches. On a side note, if i enter the menu and alter the res or AA or anything that makes it re-init the graphics these glitches go away and i can play fine, but it's often extremely tricky to do so since it seems these glitches cause 4 seperate versions of whats being displayed if that makes any sense (basically its really hard to see what im actually clicking on with the mouse) Any ideas please?

After owning a copy of this game for some time now i have never actually completed it since i always get an annoying popping/clicking sound distortion in the background nearly all the time. Today, sitting here bored, i decided to bite the bullet and just plough my way through the game once and for all. Im just looking for any general tips it would benefit me from knowing when playing through. Ive decided what class i want to be and which side i want to pursue, A Dark Jedi Sentinel. So anyway, any tips? Anything i should look out for or any big mistakes i might want to avoid? Any info would be appreciated. Also please try and retain from spoiling any of the story with your advice, thank you.

Greetings. I think i posted this topic some time ago but i forgot about it and cannot find it, anyhow... When i play the game i get near constant sound clicks/distortions/pops pretty much through the whole time that i play and it's driving me insane and stopping me from finishing this game. Now i have read LucasArt's support page for this game and done their suggestion of lowering both game and windows volume sliders below half and i have also tested various graphic settings in case i was straining my pc but even at the lowest settings possible it still happens. The game is patched and i have the HQ Media patches. Please please help, i have had this game forever now and i still cant complete the game because this sound issue totally ruins the atmosphere.

Get yourself a refund and download yourself a copy. I did. I dont get mad anymore if the game crashes, because i know i havent spent

Hello. Despite so many people reporting problems with this game, luckily mine runs pretty much like normal, apart from one annoying factor. I keep getting frequent sound stutters and distortions. At first i believed it was because i was using graphics options that put too much strain on my CPU. But after lowering every setting to the minimum, the sound stutters remain. My sound card drivers are up to date, and i even tried my onboard sound to see if that helped, the problem persisted. Im guessing this is a game issue, but i have yet to see any related problems posted here? Does anyone have any info about this please? My PC specifications are Athlon XP 2200 512MB DDR Ram GeForce 6600GT Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 I usually run the game with frame buffers, shadows and grass turned on. 1280x960, no AA / x4 AF. Any help/info is appreciated, thank you.
