I'd probably say I'm developing a patch, and give some idea of the issues that it will be addressing. And then I'd let people know how it was progressing, and why it was being held up. And I'd be active in the forums here to let people know they arent simply being ignored. And have a tech person in here trying to help people that have problems playing the game.

Yeah, I had problems like those above with 1G of RAM. That isnt the issue. My problem was solved by dropping the OpenGL driver from catalyst 4.11 into the KOTOR2 folder. Once I did that, it worked.

Easy! You laptop doesn't have a graphics card to hand the problem, and or enough memory in the system to launch the game. Solution: Take it off the laptop and install it on a desktop PC. You may find a problem where you cannot buy a graphic card for a Lap Top and that is going to be your main problem.. I could be wrong, but you said "I can hear background music but cant see a thing.", which leads me to believe that you don't have a powerful enough graphics card, or your lap top can't handle this do to your system RAM. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh? Hi, I bought the game and installed on my laptop without a problem. However when I go to play, I can create a character, watch the space scroll, however after that the screen goes blank. I can hear background music but cant see a thing. If I hit taskmanager, it shows KOTOR2 is taking up 97ish% of my CPU. I'm not sure what is going on.
