don't worry man I know exactly what your problem is I've had this problem ever since the very first time I installed the game and it drives me nuts but here what you gotta do... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - whenever it says that the wrong volume is in the disk drive do this - take out whatever disk you have in your drive and insert disk 1 - let disk 1 start to run a little bit and then click the retry button....... - in about a couple seconds it should then proceed to its normal please insert disk 3 or 4 or whatever in to the drive - so take out disk 1 and put in the next disk the installation needs - then if the problem comes up again........just put disk 1 back in and let it run and click retry......then the installation should continue and tell you to put the next sequential disk in the drive ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- its a pain in the but I know...........every time I install I literally have to do this - disk 1, disk 2, disk 1, disk 3, disk 1, disk 4, disk 1 buggyest game I've ever played lmao that sould work for ya man good luck

actually the Serroco attacking the exchange was part of the cut content of the game you were supposed to be able too convince them to attack the exchange and you would get a nice little battle there........ but once again ther was no time to implement it

Actually you'll be seeing M4-78 as well.... I'm on a team of people restoring it right now ( and for the record we are not the polish guys ) we've been at it for about two months now and if you want to find out more about it just head on over to the TSLRP's forums which they kindly share with our project anyways back on topic I personally am putting my money on the restoration being done late november early december........ but I honestly wouldnt mind waiting longer with all the great stuff they have in there

No I havent even downloaded the high quality patch yet...I was actually referring too the old movies.... and as much as defraggin the hard drive sounds like a good idea.....I have played kotor 2 when my hard drive has been practically empty......and I have still encountered the same problem another thing I though I might just throw in that bugs me..... I lag in exactly 2 places in every game I have ever played......and it drives me crazy 1. On peragus when you are T3 - m4 I go shooting forward randomly and freeze up and lag like i've never lagged before 2. In the Jek Jek Tar the exact same massive freeze up lag happens to me it was so bad at first I actually wasnt able to finish kotor 2 untill 3 months after I got it because I literally could not go farther then the Jek Jek tar and then I found out the way to cheat the lag.........I had to walk with my camera view facing my characters face......and watching the scenery behind me........and I was able to finally get through those two spots and it happend every game any ideas??

something that has always bugged me in kotor 2 is the time it takes for the movies to trigger for example when I take the shuttle down from citadel station to the telos surface there are 3 seperate movies that trigger I get the shuttle taking off and dipping towards the planet.....the I wait about 2 - 3 minutes...... and then I get the Shuttle flying across the surface of the planet then i wait another 2 -3 minutes then I get the turrets shooting at my shuttle the another minute and a half later I get my shuttle crashing on the telos surface.... I just get some really bad timming with the movies........does anyone else get this?? and i know its not my computer Its a pentium 4 with nvidia graphics card and I keep at least 20 % of my hard drive free at all times... so is there something im doing horribly wrong?

hey guys, ive made a bunch of maps for world war 2 games like call of duty using radient and gradient...........but i was wondering if there was some kind of tool like that to make new planets for kotor and kotor 2? all i want to do is make the actual map, not the scripting, just the map, and if anyone knows where to start or what tool kotor uses id really appreciate it cheers

not to sure man but it has something to do with hitting the "print screen" button on the right of your keyboard

i know but until a patch come out does anybody have any suggestions on how to unfreeze my character in the bar? its really annoying to be so close to the door and yet move so sparatically you cant get to it arg anybody?

sorry gman2 didnt read your post till after.............. um no thats not my problem anymore i forgot about doing that , where i am right now is right after mira has gone in with the enviromental suit and now my pc is trying to go and rescue her im using the force breathe and everything but im completely out of control, i cant even get to the next room with all the gand, its stupid though because it worked fine for mira but it just doesnt work for my npc anyways thanks for the help any other suggestions?

not to sound insanely stupid here but not only do i not know where to find that, i dont know how to do that anyways, if you wouldnt mind teeling me how to post my system specs then i'd do it thanks for the help let me know how

well i just did that and there good news and bad news..................the good news is i can now move but its back to its ridiculously sparatic thing were it spins in circles and freezes up but hey at least its an improvement from not moving at all lol thanks fro the help but you have any other suggestions??

Hey guys The only real problem im having with this game is on Nar Shadaa in Jek JEk Tar. I simply cant move. Ive done all the other missions i can but i cant get past Jek Jek Tar so i havent even seen the ending to the game yet and its driving me crazy!!! what happens is when i first got to NAr shAda i tried to go in there wearing a breath mask and as soon as i got inside My character would spin in out of control circles..................so i just forgot about that for a time and went and did the rest of the planet When i went to go to the bar to meet visquis and i talked to mira i had no problem.........Mira moved around the bar fine and didnt spin in circles like my main character, but after she got caught and i was back with my main character i had troubles again, as soon as i set foot in Jek JEk tar with my character my movement keys no longer worked, the only way i could move around was by clicking on the various guys to attack, and even then it was still a slide show so right now im in jek jek tar and i cant move at all which is at least a refreshing change from spinning in circles can someone help please?
