For a while, my panther had better gear than I did.
The Underdark...I liked it here...
....until I repeated it 30+ times (minus the General boss) to grind out the last clvl....

Dark Skies - Amityville House with aliens instead of ghosts. Better than I expected, but that's not to say it's a good movie. I tend to find such films boring during the set-up but it picks up a bit later. Mostly I watched it because it has that lead actress from The Americans series.

WOOHOO! I had a skeletal dog companion drop during one of the portal events! I named him Rufus von Marrowstein.
Also, I'm up to 55 bones. I'm still not exactly sure what I'll be able to get for them, but I hope to have at least 200 by the end of the event.
There's a "bones" merchant up one side of the main stairs that leads to the main praying spot. He has two dogs next to him...where one of the scrying stones usually is, maybe? The bones can be turned in for the enchants, scrolls, and the dog. 40 for the dog. I only have 25 so far, I was focusing on getting to lvl 60 first.
At the end of every portal, does the screen totally freeze for you? It doesn't hurt me at all, but it's rather annoying. Combat is fine, just "portal's have closed!" and it's suddenly 1fps for 5 seconds. Only time the game has behaved like that.
P.S. - dunno if the bones will be worth anything else later or not...
P.P.S 2 - the vendor just has white dogs, not blue ones. Blue ones from the bag o' bones I gather.

That trailer makes it look potentially good. Could use a decent summer sci-fi flick. But will it have the ultra shaky camera work of District 9?

I don't know if you saw this already, but one of the things they're testing on the test-build server right now is bind on pickup on purple gear in dungeons, or something. Says they'll leave some rares as bind on equip, but I'd guess not a whole lot. Which would kinda suck for those of us who don't like to grind dungeons (won't see many on the AH anymore). Buy them while you can, har. Oh well, I'm used to that from other online games, heh.
Oh and my panther at lvl30 rocks. His "pounce" attack now knocks enemies down, which can actually interrupt their spellcasting/attacks, and he does the pounce very often. Much more helpful than his still pitiful melee damage.

I cooked for friends most of the day. Made chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, biscuits, and Red Velvet cake. Drank some nice beer called Obsidian Stout. Definitely going to hit the gym tomorrow.
All I saw was "Red Velvet cake." Mmmm.

It's probably going to be a little while yet before I hit 60. Wouldn't take long if I put the pedal to the metal, but every time I gain a level or two, I feel like I have to take a break from combat for a couple days.
I'm still not sure I'll be doing any dungeons/grouping. Really not my thing. I do occasionally like running randomly into others who need help where I might toss out some spells or heals as I pass by, but that's different.

I think people need to come up with a better nick for this console than XBone, which reads more as X-Bone than Xbox-One.
@Chippy - while I'd agree I'm not fond of a lot of MS's seeming messages about gamers/gaming, I do have to idly wonder whether someone wanting their Xbox during submarine duty really equals a valid complaint in the first place. Seems more like a time for a Gameboy or something...course, maybe the Gameboy requires the internet these days too ... I wouldn't know.

Lately I've been of the opinion that there are no good movies being made anymore. Y'know, the ones that make you go "Oh yeah, I have to check that out!" ... I surf and surf 100's of titles, and always go "meh, maybe on a rainy day." More likely, my tastes have changed plus all the actors/actresses I grew up liking are mostly gone or semi-retired and I just can't quite get into the new crop.
So I ate my Chinese food tonight watching the birds in the trees instead. We have a lot of small song birds, crows, bluebirds, robins, etc. Plus racoons, squirrels, neighbor cats, possums, butterflies .... it's not exactly looking out your window to see deer in the forest, but hey, for the cheaper suburbs, it's not bad.

Well...with the devolving to a bit too much potential racial, sexual preference and gender profiling remarks vs. actual arguments, I'm thinking this incarnation of man vs. woman in gaming has run it's course. I could edit and prune a bit but since it's only 100 or so posts away from post limit and I'm sure the topic will come up again in one form or another, I'm laying this one to rest.

Well, I'm glad I'm a skinny elf then....maybe he won't think it's worth the time to hunt me down!
The highest prof. I have is lvl 17 tailor (almost 18). The rest of the non-Leader ones are about 16. Highest Leader is 15...which has been 15 for seemingly days.
Getting close to 16 now. Other Leader's are between 10-13.Also....if more quests were interconnecting/revisited throughout the game, like this guy's, it would be...a more interesting game to run through. But the early Linkletter stuff was the only time I felt interested in any chr/story aspect. The poor Linkletter's.

Oh, Michael Shannon is Zod? He can be a mixed bag actor wise. Good in some roles, not so good in others. I'm not really picturing him as Zod....didn't realize they were going to deal with Zod in this one right off the bat.
And nobody beats Terance Stamp....nobody.

I'm waiting for that Winter Wolf!I did get my main Cleric to 54, and her panther to max lvl-30. His last skin is basically ... even darker. Finally close to black rather than purplish. Also, finally had to switch from Sunburst to Astral Shield since it's better in tighter quarters. I still prefer Sunburst (with its radius dmg. + knockback) but I wasn't giving up Healing Ward in the hotkey bar.
Strange how all the Lolth "bosses" are the easiest ones so far...I guess because of no adds. Some of the clusters of drow assassins/priestess were tougher than "Daughter of Lolth."

Farmed for runestones in NW:Online off and on for a few hours. Sat outside in the sun. Did some joint stress/strength exercises (so boring...). Watched hubby try to take a broken Kindle apart (someone at his office was going to toss it)...he likes to see how things work, or if maybe he could fix them. He's like a little kid taking apart his parents phone, sometimes.
Now off to make some supper and then maybe find a movie to watch.

...decided a lvl7 enchant/runestone is not worth the trouble. You'd spend oodles of diamonds/zen on either type of ward to get to the highest rank (lvl10?) - or lose oodles of enchants if you don't use wards. Lvl5 or maybe lvl6 is the highest I'd go, even with wards. Totally insane. I lost a lot more p. wards than in that pic, going from lvl4's...with the end result of 2 lvl7 enchants and some lvl 5's and 6's left over.
I'll stick to the professions.
My cleric is almost lvl53 now, wiping the PvE quest mobs around. Outside of the instance bosses w/their adds, it's almost boring. But I'm sure I'd suck duck in group dungeons.

....and tell me about it. At the least it's tempting to buy a few respec tokens each for a few chrs. and a whole bunch of preservation wards. Or just horde Zen from the bonus sale until they have something I really do want ... like a panther or white wolf mount (not worg...).
....I'm still not spending $15 on a stupid dress, however. But if bags, profession packs and more actual services ever go on sale, I'd be in serious trouble.

I've been going for defense because it helps with every single hit, where I think Deflection is only a chance of 50% dmg. reduction on a hit? Being solo with everyone hitting me-only (they almost never attack panther), the former seems more sensible? Altho I'd guess Deflection, when it procs, works well with the big red circle attacks.
Cleric's reached the point where with 4 Divine pips she hardly has to use the action-point Divine Powers. Only if completely mobbed or on the "bosses." Sunburst/Daunting Light/Healing Wards/Astral Seal/Sacred Flame. She takes a lot of dmg but heals for so much that most of the time she survives without needing a pot.
The bizarre camera swinging angles that can occur when close-targeting in narrow places still "mess" me up sometimes tho. -
That looks like a good place for a concert.

...being someone who hates filth and especially smell - well, let's just say that I don't mind dirt, and not showering, like when backpacking in the woods, but that goes a bit beyond that.
