  1. Handmaiden: Sparring(you need to be at lvl 18 and sparr with her at least 3 times)and and LS actions are the only way to get her to be a Jedi.

Due to her mother, she is a force senstive. Also if you have a high skilled and wisdom oriented Jedi, you will understand her force experience with Atris's Holocrons and other artiacts while you are at the Polar Cap. Also if you take her to the Dantioone Crystal cave she will make a comment about feeling strange in the cave. That strange feeling both at the cave and at the polar cap are quite similar.

    Handmaiden's Jedi Class: Jedi Guardian.

Disciple: Being Pro LS in the conversation, He is the easiest of all the Trainable Jedi because you can convert him in one coversation. Disciple's Jedi Class: Jedi Counslar

Despite his solider class, his Jedi counslar class is approiate for his scholarly nature and his love of knowledge.

Bao-Dur: at least 3 LS actions, he is quite easy if you know where to look. For Example, if you be Dedicated LSer and Starting on Telos then go to Dantioone and do the atomsphere sensor sidequest. Ask about the sensor then be helpful to the Milita. Then a Conversation will appear that allows you to train him if you want too.

Bao-Dur's mechinal genius is probaly due to his force senstive.

    Bao-Dur's Jedi Class: Jedi Guardian.

    Nar Shadda Requirement:

Atton is easy. You can start getting influence as early as Pergaus(aka Harbringer to get the navicomputer) near the entrance to the Ship there will be a conversation. Just side with Atton and you will get some influence. Also at the Polar Cap, Talk to one of theHandmaidens about him and his echani training. Then Ask about his echani Training. He will act like he pretends to "just" fake it. Then On Nar Shadda, There will be two Twi Leks males that will talk to you about Atton and his dark past.

Confront Atton about it and he will reveal to you his past. In that conversation, you can get the rest of the influence to get Atton to be a Jedi. If you haven't gotten enough influence by now, do the listening lesson by Kreia and you will listen on Atton's pazaak game. When you finish the listening lesson, Talk to Atton about the pazaak. Tell him that you are sorry for listening on to his game with his game and he will tell you he understand and ask him to teach you his mental block method . You will get an extra will save and the much needed influence. Also there are many ways on Nar Shadda for extra Atton or Bao-Dur influence checks.

Sidenote: Atton knows that he is force senstive. He and Disciple know that they are force sensetive before they join your crew.

Atton's mental block explains alot and why he was so good at his former career.

    Atton's Jedi class: Jedi Sentinel.

Mira: You will need at least 15 intelligence and a good Awareness score for her. Like the Disciple, she is quite easy. Talk to her when you have the 15 intelligence and the good awareness score. After the first serious conversation with her, take her where Kreia showed you how to listen to the true Nar Shadda. By showing her the true Nar Shadda, it will unlock her force senstivity to the fullest and you can train her.

Mira does signs of Force senstive and that is why she is such a good bounty hunter. And she can read people quite easily and that is why she is a good bounty hunter.

    Mira's Jedi Class: Jedi Sentinel.

Sidenote; Althru there will be no more Wookies that are force users, you can still make a case for Haharr to be a force senstive with in Kotor 2.

Haharr has traits that would make him a good Sith Marunder or Dark Jedi Guardian.

  2. This one is Dealing with the Exile herself.

In the proluge where the Player uses T3 M4 to repair the Ebon Hawk. Instead of him, I had the Exile to control and fix the Ebon Hawk.

The Interesting thing is The Exile can surive in Space.

SO maybe losing the force would lead to new abilities that are unknown to the Jedi or the Sith like Space Surivial.

  3. Architect hit the nail on the head with his comment about the Exile - asides from the 'wound' in the force and force bonds things, (s)he was a thoroughly average jedi - remember the recording of Vrook saying this? - who just happens to do uber powerful things because they're the PC of a video game, and you can't have PC's being weak gits now can you? :ermm:

DeathScepter - while the thought of playing as Revan appeals to many, many people; it would be very difficult to realistically implement. Do you start him/her at lvl 20? lvl 1? If anything other than 20 (around where you finish K1 as) then why have you dropped to a lower level? Then of course you'll have everyone booing at some cliche excuse for this: you stopped training for a while and, like, got worse...; captured and tortured and, like, forgot stuff...didn't they already use that one?

Finally - who/what IS Revan? Everyone keeps saying "I want to play as Revan!" and "I want to play as the Exile!" - but who are they, really? Do you want to play them having been light-side? dark-side? What companions did they have? Did they make romantic attachments? What gender? What class(es) did they take? There are so many factors to take into account that you might as well play a whole new character...In fact, assuming that K3 will include more classes/races/etc to choose from in character development, what are the chances that the 'Revan' you create/use for 3 will be the same one you used in K1 (and how many different 'Revans' did you make in K1)?

Playing as a whole new character (and I stand by my opinion that it should be some generic character who was in the right place to do something great, rather than 'The Chosen One!!!') enables much more streamlined changeover into the new game, and also allows for potential cameo appearances by Revan and/or Exile in the game - which you can either set to be male/female and ls/ds or just use the canon from LA (which a lot of people won't like).

I actually rather like the idea of finding them dead along the way - and you are able to do what they couldn't because you were better prepared in some way - that could also eliminate problems of "but MY Revan wouldn't have done that!!!".

There are so many different opinions of how to do it, that the developers will just have to pick one and go with it - and deal with the fact that some people might not like it. Let's face it, whichever way they go in nuances like that, it'll still be a great game :)

Finally - I would like to reiterate my earlier request that character development be expanded to NWN levels ;)

Well my ideas of Revan training would be on the lines of self training and getting back into shape. But there would be no knowledge losted for him. A good year of torture would exhaust even the mightiest of heroes. So the self training would be his own form of leveling up during gameplay. Also he would have many training partners.

As for Revan's past, I was thinking about a combination of dialgoue tree during the scene with the prisoner in the next cell and a questionaire during character creation.

As for the character creation, it will be a tad bit higher for character creation. As in more feats, skill points and force powers to play with.

My angst towards the Revan fanboys is quite high and them making Revan a god drives me nuts.

As for the Exile, She will be introduced in the mid of the game and her character creation like Revans will be more flexible and she will not have any lvl loss but she will be at least the lvl of Revan when they meet up.

Both of their character creations will be at the start of the game and within the character creation, both of them will have a questionaire within that will influence the dialgoues about their respective histories.

Also with the new customer once they get interested will be influneced to get the first two games. Personally I do want Obsidian and Bioware to keep reaping the rewards of both Kotor 1 and 2. For both of them are good games due to story.

    For I remain,

    A kotor fanboy.

  4. Well Revan and Exile are consider equal but opposites. Revan is consider to be like to the Heart of the Force and the Exile the Death of the Force.

Also anyone that use the Thought Bomb(Revan developed it and thru Bane, Kaan learned it as well despite there was an interesting designed Flaw in that holocron).

Vander is just a clone of Yoda and Yoda is a lvl 20 Jedi.

Personally I want Revan to be back as the PC again, so he can get his ass handed to him and the PC part because I like enjoy playing as Revan again. As for the Exile, I have an working idea how she will be an Co PC to Revan.

I do have some of their possible relationship work out regardless of alignment.

Well They are both students of Kreia and they have learned their lessons well from her.

PM me if you want to further understanding of my insanity.

  5. it is not that hard to get them all in one game regularly once you know how to get the good influence with them. Or at least equally negative influence.

Btw, if you get negative influence, they will go to the opposite alignment that you are currently at.

For Example, if you are a lightsider, it is possible to make them to Dark Jedi and if you are a darksider, make them to lightsiders

If you want same alignment, positive alignment is key to making them the same alignment as you are.

  6. New customers to KotOR video game franchise = new KotOR III PC. There is no other option. Besides, it's for the best.

That is to the hardcore fans vs. casual players.

Most of the Star Wars Eu is flooded with over the top UBER force users. Before too long, Star Wars will become Dragonball Z due to the fact of the over the top Uber fighters can blow up planets.

Cell, Buu and Goku are within the top 5 DBZ fighters and their abilities would shame even Darth Nihilus.

By having over the top UBERS, the storyline will start to falter. The Cell Saga was when the DBZ took the dive in story quality because A) the villian was too perfect of a fighter B) too many of the heroes are insanely powerful.

So ever once in the while having a hero is over powered is alright but in a short time span will get absurd.

Comes down to it, IT is very much cliche' to have your characters too powerful.

  7. According To Kotor 1 Darth Bandon's bio, that he is the top Sith Assassin with plenty of dead jedi under his belt.

Despite his accompishments, it doesn't make any less of a douchbag.

Btw to Lazidude, Revan mind is healed. So therefore he doing training with the knowledge that he has already will remove the traditionial archtypal mentor like in the last two games. I do suggest that he uses the knowledge that he has and also training with allies(like what Exile did in Kotor 2 with his allies).

So if he gets de-leveled thru the torture, his cunning and knowledge will stop if not slow down the amount of torture he is recieving and he can heal up and level up.

IF they can't do without a mentor, I do think a mentor that is not a female( like the old man that is a darker verison of Master Roshi in my previous posts) nor not as helpful as both of them.

This old man( i am thinking of), he is both adversay in his teaching methods and also quite funny.

  8. that is why i favor the CO PC s for Kotor 3. Also I don't like too many UBER JEDIs in such a short time span.

    Revan

    Exile

    Traya

    Exar Kun

    Malak

    Bandon

    Nihilus

    Sion

    Ulic Qel Doma

All of them I just mention are quite powerful In the force. I am quite sure there are others that I haven't mention both ingame and outside of the game during this time period.

For example, if Revan returns, We can have him tortured and severly weaken from the torture. Also in a prison world, he would start out in.

Gameplay wise, All of the feats and powers of the first two games will be open up for Revan and very little restriction when lvling up.

For example, Getting Force storm much soon than lvl 18. Also staying in character of Revan, All of the unique force powers and feats of all of the Kotor 2 Prestige classes will avaible to Revan.

Also a very funny old man that is a darker verison of Master Roshi from Dragon Ball series will help him to exploit the prison system where they are at. Also the Old man would unlock more force powers and feats for Revan gameplay wise.

Thru cunning and trickery, Revan would ulimately use the sadistic nature of the Prison Warden to his advantage and destroy the prison.

Basicly Guards versus Prisoner on that planet, I do have in mind.

  9. Well I do think there were political reasons why he still call him Palptine while he was the Emperor.

After the Clone Wars, Calling one self a Sith Lord publicly was a bad move for guys like him. Also no one knows the actual relationship Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker outside of ESB post revelation scene Luke Skywalker and ROTJ Endor Leia. So Most likely that everyone assumes that Darth Vader was Darth Vader's real name.

  10. Maybe Knowing the fate of the Rakatas of Kotor 1, he believed that he will ulimately have to abandon the Star Forge and take the Resources of the Republic inorder to Take on the True Sith Empire.

Star Forge is a dark side entity and it feeds and produces dark side energy. Also Dark Side Energy does corrupt the living beings so they inturn use that dark side to do dark side act which produces more dark side energy.

So Ulimately it was more of a liablity than a strenght in the long term if the Star Forge was contanstly being used in a wartime.

Btw I do think the Star Maps would be damaged in such a way it could take another 25,000 years to regenerate. Thermal Denators and Phasma grenedes could do a lot of damage to the Star Maps.
