Disabling the movies would let you get past that point. Mine did that exact same thing. It's crashing/freezing after playing the movie, check the disable movies box, and you'll beable to play the game. Just not see any of the movies.

If you have a laptop you need to get the drivers from the laptop manufacturer, because laptop video cards are different than the full version of the cards, so the regular drivers wont work. Usually your laptop manufacturer will have updated drivers on thier site. You said you can create your character then it crashes? Have you tried diabling the movies?

What would you recommend for the Mobility ATI cards? I have the Mobility 9600, and I'm pretty sure they use different drivers than the regular cards. ~Ketrilla

I'm pretty sure it freezes after every movie. The videos get unlocked once to get to the point in the game where they show, so you can click movies in the main menu, and watch the ones you missed. You'll have to uncheck the disable movies to do that, though. And it will freeze after watching one, so it's really annoying if there's serveral you want to watch. I'm hoping the patch will fix this.

Thats a common bug. Disable the videos and you should be able to play.

My movies have been disabled. It freezes after playing the movies, so i've had them disabled the whole time i've been playing.

I'm at a dead end in my game. It keeps crashing at the exact same time, every time. And it's the only thing I can do. *spoiler* I'm in Nar Shaadaa in the Jekk'Jekk Tarr Tunnels. I confront Visquis, get zapped by Goto, then i see the scene where Kreia sends the wookee after Mira. *end spoiler* Then the screen goes black, and it either crashes back to the desktop, or freezes up. Every time. I'm stuck. I've tried setting my graphics settings to the lowest possible, and it still does it. I'm using an ATI Mobility 9600 64MB, 64 bit AMD 3400+, with 512 Mb RAM. Is there any way to fix this so I can continue playing? ~Ketrilla
