The protagonist did have a voice actually. She/he only had a few lines of spoken dialogue though. Such as when a critical hit landed, or when going into stealth mode.

They can always go with the old fashioned permanent outfit look. You know, when you equip any number of different items but appear to always wear the same gear?

I suppose I allowed my imagination to run wild earlier. I did notice a few of the changes you wrote. But I figured they were very slight cosmetic alterations. For the most part I decided they were side effects of becoming a Dark Jedi. After the veiny protagonist in KotOR, and all the sickly looking Sith, my assumption was that the portrait showed a dark side incarnation of the same character. Only time will tell I guess.

I'm going to go out on a limb and write that they are one in the same. The contours of her eyes are similar in both portraits, and the nose is virtually identical. I wouldn't be surprised if she was an NPC your character can corrupt over the course of the game. Or perhaps redeem, assuming you first encounter her as a Sith and not a Jedi.

And what if you're darkside? your mission would be to kill them? hmm, sounds like the dark path might not be available until late in the game, since no jedi is going to unite under the sith banner. You might turn fully light or dark when you choose a prestige class, kinda like your 'choice' at the temple. My guess is that you could recruit other Jedi for a just cause at the onset. Then when your decisions begin to put you on the dark path some of the other Jedi will be corrupted alongside you. If party members can change alignment now, I wouldn't be surprised if a Jedi NPC can eventually become a Sith. After that the main goal might be to supplant the current Sith rulers and take their positions of power for your own. That is kind of like the original KotOR though. So maybe not.

I'm fairly certain even the original IWD was delayed. If Sith Lords is delayed it will probably be for a good reason. I rather have a better game later than a buggy game sooner.

I don't know the nuances of Star Wars D20, but do the other races have different stat bonuses or penalties in Sith Lords? Maybe special qualities like Zalbaar's Wookie Toughness feat in the first KotOR? Something for the non-human NPCs to feel more unique I guess, aside from the obvious physical differences.

There is a Sith ghost on Korriban. Ajunta Pall. I think Canderous has the best shot at showing up again. The original characters came across as devoted to Revan by the end of the game. If not, they died. Oh well.
