TSL Restoration Project: Work in Progress
Vorador replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
OMG! I played KOTOR II a few months ago, and although I didn't find the ending that bad, I remember I DID find it odd that there were a lot of unanswered questions at the end as well as inexplicable things. And then i read about the deleted stuff right in this forum, also a few months ago. I't s been a while since the last time I logged into this forum, and now i've just read this topic, and I definitely will be waiting for this unofficial patch!!!!! thanks! -
Do yourself a favor and buythe Gygabite Radeon9550. You can thank me later

Download and install omega drivers: http://www.omegadrivers.net If that doesn't work, disable movies in the launcher
-
look, try this: just set everything back to the way you had it in the beginning, or just make a clean install. The, go to your .ini file and under display options, set the refresh rate to 60, and if it doesn't work, try different ones, for example, 75 [Display Options] FullScreen=1 Disable Movies=0 Disable Intro Movies=0 Sort Modules=1 Width=640 Height=480 BitsPerPixels=32 RefreshRate=60

how convenient in deed :D

In KOTOR2, whenever somebody has a problem, they try to leave THE PLANET? it would be much easier to just leave the city, but nooooooooooo.... I guess leaving the planet is the rational thing to do :">

http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=31165 There is a TON of content that was cut out probably due to either XBox incompatibility problems and or because of the rushed Dec. '04 ship date by Lucas Arts (LA). You'll see why a lot of people feel really let down at the end of this game (for various reasons) and what is worse, the devs actually left IN certain parts that lead to the cut material that make the game very sloppy and incomplete... Like the "Redemption" quest bug. They should have just completely cut it; the guy running off altogether... But either they didn't have time or just thought people wouldn't notice and this happens more frequently as you progress through the games (Side-quests are opened, but there is no resolution and you are left scratching your head). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thanks dood!, I never actually thanked you. sorry for that.

There was a lot of interesting things going on in the K2 forums, eventually getting to the point where people started listing non-public contact addresses for L.A. executives and ecouragment to bombard said persons with snail and electronic mail... People needed a bucket of cold water to cool temper a bit and the back to business as normal. The current announcement on top from F.U. was preceeded by an announcement about the forum closure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wow... thanks for the explanation. .... they sure needed a bucket of cold water alright..

thanks for the feedback people.... geez... -
Of course they are not. But would you buy a game from a company that offers no post-release support at all? I don't think so.

thanks dood! those are great tips. I Think I'll try them. + Anyway, I've been using the omega drivers and they work pretty welll. what do you think? Another thing: disabling vertex buffer... does it also disable any FX? -
mmm , that's a weird system... well, I just set all values to 255, and now all movies are availables. It wasn't that important, just wanted to rewatch the ones I had unlocked,. thanks!
