i still can't see why it bothers YOU! you can play the game, so start playing and do us all a favor. People who have given 50 euros to buy a game and cannot play it, have the right to complain all they want. By the way, i couldn't play the game, then i borrowed an nVidia 5600 (or so) from a friend and it played perfectly... I advise you all to do the same. And, after finishing the game, i can say that it IS "a crappy sequel". And the ending really sucks.. I wish bugs woudln't let me finish it!

the announcementthat the patch is in the Q&A testing phase has been made several days now... still no patch available! i visit www.obsidianent.com twice a day but no luck yet.... can't they just give us the patch and we'll do the Q&A?!!! It can't get any worse anyway! I can't play the game right now...

EXACTLY the same for me!!! though i had an nVidia back then... but that shouldn't be the problem cause today i borowed a friends nVidia but still cant make KOTOR2 play (1/3 loading problem)

i dont think its gonna work without the patch Just today i borowed a friends nVidia to see if i could overcome the problem (i have ATI) but no luck... The only thing left for me is to wait for the patch... I hope they release it soon... i'm tired of waiting

same problem i've tried loading previous games... tried everything on the forum... loading autosaves... NOTHING!!!!!

well, i currently cannot play the game. I mailed lucas support but no response so far (more than a week), problems, bugs, .... you name it At least we can have a laugh with the crappyness of the situation.. Here's what i found in KOTOR2 official troubleshooting guide: ----------------- "What should I do if my computer goes to a black screen or locks-up? If you end up at a black screen or the game appears to lock up, please press <ALT-F4> before trying anything else. If this fails, press <CTRL-ALT-DEL> once and choose <END TASK> on Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, which should take you back to the desktop. NOTE: Windows 2000 and XP users will need to click on Task Manager, and then choose <END TASK>. If you do not see a dialog box after pressing <CTRL-ALT-DEL>, press <ENTER> twice and this should take you back to the desktop. Then restart your computer and try running the game again. " ------------------ :D (w00t) This is some great troubleshooting!!!!!! if your game crashes, then press ALT+CTRL+DEL THANK YOU LUCAS for your precious support!!!

Well im one of those for whom the game is unplayable! I uninstall the game and reinstall it every time i want to play it beacause if i don't it wont load ANY savegame. It crashes every single time!! And now it WONT PLAY not matter what i do!!! I mailed LUCAS SUPPORT about a week ago AND NO REPLY!!! I mean, not even, -we do not know the problem but will look at it asap... NOTHING! I wonder how much they care... And obsidian too. Obsidians must have not even looked at this forum ever! I have never seen any reply anywhere... And it's such a shame, because companies complain about piracy but when it comes to customer care they look away. Support is what they can and MUST offer to their customers. Appart from the product, support is the no.2 reason to buy a legal copy! ..anyway... since you were talking about BUGS: in the begining, in the minig colony, when the freaky sith comes and Kreia confronts him, i walked near the locked door and switched from my 2nd character to my main, and my main characted actually appeared in the room with Kreia and the Sith!!!!! The sith wouldnt attack or anything. They stood there watching each other -if you want to know what realy happened there

i have installed XP SP2 just today. I have ATI 9600SE. The game starts up to the main screen fine. I choose my character and when i click play and the game starts to load, at about 35% it crashes to desktop (has encountered an rerror and needs to close - send report) Also tried the .ini fix - no result All that with the catalyst 5.2. I uninstalled cat5.2, also used drivercleaner to be sure, and installed 4.11 as a lot of people say it works Nothing changed. The game still crashes!! Not some time... EVERY DAMN TIME!!!! also with the 4.11 drivers the whole game (that is, the main menu for me) is like it's in the matrix with green stuff flickering all over my screen I've been trying to fix it 2-3 days and the only thing i managed to do (appart from formating my disk and reinstalling the OS) is hate obsidian and ATI. I had KOTOR1 and back then i had an nVidia card - no problems there... But now..... what's that?? And why isn't anyone realy complaining?? I mean, as a customer, demand a patch right now or a refund!! I'm not in the habit of throwing away 45euros you know... Sorry if this message sounds offensive, but i am really anoyed with the situation
