  1. Thanks for the insight, but regarding those talents, if i want to pick them on other classes, what i have to consider as a factor to pick or not one of those talent?
  2. Heya all guys, like the title say i want to know some things about my POTD run. First thing first, is melee rogue (or cipher) really that unplayable on POTD? Since you can have individual Stealth now a character drops stealth when the rest of the party enter in combat? The second thing i want to understand is when to pick such talent like Vulnerable Attack, Penetrating Shot and Savage Attack. I really want to try to play a character that can adapt to the situation with melee and ranged capabilities (either cipher or rogue), but since you have to invest in different talent to be efficent in the damage department i want to understand if that talents are always mandatory or no. To decide if u need them is there some tips and factor to consider? for example if a weapon have already 5 DR you have to take a DR pass talent? Thank you all in advance, i hope someone can help me understand this mechanics!
  3. Thanks for the insight. Did you need to take talents to bypass the DR of enemies with both type of weapon?
  4. Heya all! I'm back for the white march and want to do a fresh run. I already finished the base game with a rogue and i want now some sugggestions for my new run. I'm curious to start the game on PoTD difficulty, and i want to know 3 major things: 1) Min Max is mandatory? i like RP and i dislike stats at 3 2) Is PoTD Micro intensive even with the AI? 3) Do you need to abuse figurines in PoTD? (i hate this kind of tactic) Character related instead i want to know if is possible to do a cipher or another character that can switch melee to ranged and vice versa ? (i find it funny), Bow and Pike would be nice choice. Thank you all in advance for your tips and help!
  5. Can you do some example between perception and intellect checks in game instead?
  6. Ok ty, using chat command to switch to int or perc
  7. Someone can share some light on Resolve checks? Majority of them are menacing?
  8. I mean the resolve checks, in the first part of the game up to the first village i only found threatening resolve check, i break your leg was actually a resolve one...i mean the situation improve? there are some charismatic quote from resolve in the game that involve brain and not menacing everyone? For involving your brain one would use Intellect. Resolve is really a lot about deception and convincingly lying to people. I haven't threatened many people with Resolve... I think that one in village may be one of the few that do that. Ok thanks, with brain i was meaning avoid any menacing hehe...i was hoping for the charismatic type of guy with resolve, seems like i was wrong so...
  9. 10. I'm at the begin of the game, but the first couple of resolve check i found was all like "i break your leg if you don't do this", i taked resolve to be a charismatic character, not a rude like all the situation i ecountered so far. So is the resolve check change a bit while dojng the story or they remain the same? thank you all in advance
  11. Like the title say is it worh to take it along with savage attack for that specific weapons?
  12. I think Resolve 20 was on floor 14 of the mega-dungeon (and I recall a couple Resolve 18-19 checks here and there), and Int 19 was in Twin Elms. Perception 19 was used to see some details in a vision somewhere. Keep in mind you'll probably export your character into sequels and expansions, and those will likely have more. You can gain +2 from items (I don't recall any +3 Int item, but maybe there is one), and foods only work in combat. You can get it to 19+ with inn or Salty Mast bonuses, or with a certain ability (but for the last one you'd need to reload right before the conversation, 'cos the buff doesn't last long). Your right, want to roll a melee cipher for hard mode but without extreme min maxing is hard to have such high requirement and i really dislike having 3 into a stats
  13. 20 and 19 in the Sacrifical Bloodline quest? or in other quest too? anyway if i start the game with 15 intelligence with food and item i can access all the int interaction basically right?
  14. Like the title says, what's the minimum requirement to achieve each conversation check for the mental one? (aside from the Sacrificial Bloodlines quest i mean). What's the higher Skill check in conversation a part from that quest? Whats the most checked stat?Thank you all in advance
  15. I always go rogue, this time aroun in thorn in the indecision, cipher is good lorewise but having 2 cipher im scared to ruin the game difficulty (I'm on hard)
  16. Rolled both od the class, i'm indecided now wich one to go further with. I know that cipher have interaction with grieving mother, does this 2 classes have class related moment in the game? (I just need a yes or no mot to know what happen xD). thank you all in advance
  17. Ty for the answer..bad to hear..cipher was looking cool but if the game become a walk in the park..
  18. thanks forthe insight, but i prefer picking up a rogue or cipher and stick to pre generated character, regarding my question what you think? if i keep mother only for CC it break it anyway? as for rogue instead?
  19. As the title say is it worth to take with that talent with a pike or estoc, a dual wield character with sabre or stiletto, or a bow user? They stack? The base classes for this are cipher or rogue, thanks in advance
  20. You think that it become more easy with a melee cipher with grv mother than a melee rogue with her? maybe going for only crowd control and no damage spell on her can contain the opness?
  21. Having a Cipher or Rogue melee as a main character and the grieving mother in group, is going break to break the difficulty of the game (hard)? I read that ciphers are OP and i fear to ruin the difficulty of the game, but seems like rogue are really good too at damage, so before picking one of them im curios to know this. thank you all in advance.
