No have a crash, only slowdowns. I get it fixed with the 4.11 drivers and the vertex disable option..... This is not funny, i am checking this forum all days, before i begin playing Kotor, looking for any info of the patch...

Same here, but that not stop me playing the game..... i finish dantooine and nar shaada, i have 19 lvl right now. (15 jedi consular, 4 jedi master like yoda you know)

If you want the Frame buffer effect option enable, you have to disable the triple buffering option in the opengl compatibility option of the ATI catalist drivers. Saludos.

Ok disable the sound card and play, see if you still have the same problem. Also check if your video drivers from nvidia are the latest ones.

Computer relate problems...... Video card driver, overheating, memory problems, overheating, low-end system, anti-virus and soo on..... I remember long time ago when i overclock one of my puters, only one of the games i have in that time no work, but other games runs fine. Give your spec and see if other games run fine, check your drivers. Saludos.-

Looks to me like some kind of overheating of the video card. You are doing some overclocking in your video card?

I almost ATI users problems.... There is some little bugs, and some bigs (hope no see any of those big ones). Checking the old forums of KOTOR I, i see the same problems that ppl have now with this game. I play KOTOR I with a Geforce FX 5200 and never have a problem. Saludos.-

Because they work with a old version of the engine (they call the source engine right?), the halflife latest one was tweak and have the support of the creators (valve)... I know the game have serius problems, it take me buy a 512 mb RAM for my computer, because the game not run with the 512 ones i have in that moment, still with 1 gb ram i have slow downs, and the 1500 mb virtual memory that they recomend in the readme was insane. Damn it was like Ultima 9 when it come out, no one play the game in the time it get release because it have some problems with the TNT video cards and it ask for 256 mb ram ( in that time that was too weird have that amount of ram). After some patch and some years, i play the game that was in my shelve, was nice, of course not near as the ultima 7.... Soo my last favorite company die, i really don
