Hello there,

I have a very peculiar crash in the Old City.

I'll be exploring the area absolutely fine until I come across Grub Burrows or any Grub enemies, even the big grub boss. The game CTDs or stops responding after a couple of seconds of fighting these little grubby SOBs. I have no idea what could be causing this?

Has anyone else experienced Grub related crashes, or Old City crashes in general?

Any tips would be great.

Thanks.

Hey there!

I'm forwarding this to our QA folks. They'll find a crash log really useful because it does sound like a crash that happens under very specific circumstances. My gut feeling is that something related to the grub's abilities or models (vfx, shaders, materials, etc.) isn't jiving well with a particular hardware/driver. But that's just a hunch. It'll require looking into it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention - much appreciated!

After crashing about 10 times, - It happened every time I fought a grub in Old City - I ran "Verify Integrity of Game Files" in the Local Files tab of the Poe2 Steam Properties. It found a file and fixed it and now it is working fine.

Hey guys,

We've got this bug logged into our system, but could use some crash logs to help the programmers see what's going on during your playthroughs.  You can find instructions for gathering bug information here.  Once you have that, you can e-mail it to bugs@obsidian.net with the same title as this thread.

Thanks for the help guys, and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused during your playthrough.

SChin
