I passed the story point where I got most of my soul back from Eothas, and the dialog mentioned my choice to sacrifice a companion in the first game, but after the cutscene did not gain the ability. I have never respecced. I also did not receive the Gift of the Machine buff i was supposed to get. I can not attach a savegame, because it is to big.

This should be resolved with our patch 1.1. Do you still have this issue on your playthrough?
