I had a bug where this buff showed up on Eder instead for some reason, presumably because he was first in party order. Oh interesting. I just checked and no one else has them for me. :/

I passed the story point where I got most of my soul back from Eothas, and the dialog mentioned my choice to sacrifice a companion in the first game, but after the cutscene did not gain the ability. I have never respecced. I also did not receive the Gift of the Machine buff i was supposed to get. I can not attach a savegame, because it is to big.

I did not receive either buff, or anything really after the story part. Sadface.
