Weapon style passives and ranged weapons question

Featured Replies

This may be a dumb question, but here goes.

Do the weapon style passives work with ranged weapons?  I didn't notice anything in those passive ability descriptions that limited them to only melee weapons, but ya never know.  After all, a bow is a 2 handed weapon, so can you use the Two Handed Weapon style with bows, for example?

Come on, people!  Over 100 views and not a single friggin' reply?

I tested Two Handed Weapon style on Maia Rua, she gets increased damage when using an Arquebus.

You can test yourself by giving a companion the ability and having them attack another companion (bind the "attack cursor" in Controls). Mouse over the attack in the combat roll and press shift, there you can see all the details for what went into the Accuracy, Deflection, Armor Rating, Penetration and Damage.

Thanks for replying, dejarik.

The thing is that one isn't always in a position to do such a test, i.e. if you don't have a character in need of a level up.

You can use the console (first iroll20s and then addexperience X (where X is an amount)) to get the level up screen right away. Or you could go to any merchant and reroll.

dejarik, I guess that I'm just annoyed that so few people replied to my simple post.  I'm glad that you did, but it's just annoying that you're the only one.
