Edér and the Night Market

Hello.

 

Edér should have been a member of the Night Market in my game, but due to what I assume is a bug he instead talks about how he visited his parents and has not mentioned the Night Market at all.

 

Can someone share with me how the Night Market impacts the game and Edér's story?

You get an amulet that gives +1 stealth and +1 religion, also his side quest is about someone he met there.

My problem is Eder should be the mayor of Gilded Vale according to my POE1 endgame save, but here he says he worked with the Night Market, sigh...

Me too! I hope Mayor Eder isn't too different from Night Market Eder.

I checked and just realized this is actually one of the "known major issues":
"Players who completed Pillars 1 with Eder becoming mayor of Dyrford may notice that he became a member of the Night Market instead during Deadfire."

Damn. Now I keep wondering what mayor Eder's story would be.
