May 8, 20187 yr Just started the game, everything seemed fine until you get teleported to the "dwarf". All textures there are buggy and black stripes are showing all around the place. I had no issue at all with the backer beta. SOLUTION: Update your Windows system and set MSAA to 1 from in-game option. Then restart the game. output_log.txt Screen: My config: Intel i7 4770k 16 Gb RAM Nvidia 780Ti (latest drivers) Windows 10 64-bit Edited May 9, 20187 yr by Habardeen

May 8, 20187 yr Author Have you tried switching to windowed with your screen size as window size, its a bit uninituitive as borderless windowed but it accomplishes that, and this problem happened for me also fine throughout backer beta and it was fixed by swapping away from fullscreen at least after that starting area when it was actually worse for me. It doesn't change anything unfortunately.
May 8, 20187 yr Yep same problem here as well and I have a machine that more than meets the requirements of the game. Will try the windowed mode to see if that helps. Running win10 64 with 16GB ram, GTX Titan card using most current drivers.
May 9, 20187 yr I have the same issue. On the latest NVIDIA Drivers (397.55) and exceed minimum specs by a long way.
May 9, 20187 yr Solution I had the same issue - I changed MSAA samples from 2 to 1 and it works fine.
May 9, 20187 yr Author I had the same issue - I changed MSAA samples from 2 to 1 and it works fine. This did the trick. Also needed a game restart to take effect.
May 9, 20187 yr MSAA set to 1 fixed this for me too. Why can't we use 2 or 4 without corruption? Is this bug on the bug tracker?
January 2, 20197 yr Hi, I can see that this post is quite old, but it seems the problem is not fixed yet. I have the same exact bug when i turn MSAA to 2 or 4. (what appears on screen is exactly the same that is showed on the original post's screenshot). And if i turn MSAA to 1 it's fine but i'd like to play the game at it's best display. I read the previous answer from a dev about "recommended" specs for Pillars of Eternity 2. Here is my config : GC : RTX 2080 Gigabyte Processor : i7-7700k 4,20 GHZ RAM : Corsair 2X8 GO DDR 4 3000mhz Motherboard: ASROCK Z270m Extreme 4 Hard Drive : SSD Samsung EVO Windows 10 pro 64bits Every drivers are up to date and i think my PC is fairly good enough to run POE2 with MSAA 2+ And i can turn some games to 4k with 60ips (not all ^^) Any help i can receive to fix this ? (maybe a nvidia setting that could work it out ? ). Thanks for your time and help, Regards, Malanir.
