Regarding the Rooting Pain ability for monk, the description says that it activates each time you get a wound.  Can anyone verify whether it activates once per wound, or once per instance of gaining wounds?

Example:

Monk has no wounds currently, and takes 50 damage in one shot.  Does this cause rooting pain to activate 5 times instantly, or does it activate only once?

5 times.

Every time you gain a wound it triggers. If you get 5 wounds from 50 damage it will trigger 5 times (in a very, very short time :)).

It also doesn't matter how you gain wounds: Dance of Death, Nalpasca trip, Shattered Pillar - it all triggers RP.

I'm beginning to think Monks may end up being the best class.

Basically like in PoE (well, best martial class).

However - the damage and PEN of Rooting Pain are pretty low.
