So we can re-target with the spells with a click, basically like a re-cast, but wouldn't it also be neat if we could simply click and hold on the icon on the screen where you cast it the first time and just drag it to where you now want it? And if you unpause and do it, you will still see the timer and the spell will cast it where you are holding it once timer runs out. So you can drag and release, or drag and hold and it will cast it where you're holding it.

Just an idea for quality of life I suppose :)

Nevermind, came upon a point in the backer videos where they show you can do exactly this lol. Yay! You can delete this whole thread now I suppose :D

Right now you target a spell, but can retarget it (move the "target" icon around as long as it is within your range) if need be.

If I understand it right you want to have to keep LMB even while "aiming", which I don't really see a benefit of. Seems just like current system except you have to keep LMB pressed for longer. As you don't drag "spell icons" from a quickbar it feel intuitive to me, and inconsistant with other abilities (those you don't have to target).

You can do both. You can just re-click a new target, or drag the icon to the new target/location, depending on whichever you prefer.

Yep, just saw it in one of the videos. Looks so great and user friendly. I can't wait much longer lol. I wish the GMG pre-order also came with the backer beta to warm me up :p
