I have the same problem.  When I click "Play" in the Steam interface to start the game a window pops up with this text:

"Oops!  The game crashed. The crash report folder named *2018-4-30_134348* next to game executable.  It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!"

I also verified the integrity of the games files and all was ok.

This kept happening to me all weekend long, not sure why. Restarting the PC fixed it every time, until the next time it crashed. I keep meaning to test it, but I was using Edge to stream Hulu every time it crashed. Could be nothing, I won't know until I test it (which I keep forgetting to do). Never had a problem until this weekend, maybe it was the new NVidia drivers I had installed?

I just remembered to test this. If I have Edge open AT ALL PoE2 will crash when I launch it. Looking over the log it mentions something about memory space, I wonder if Edge and PoE2 are trying to use the same resources?

If I launch Edge after I have PoE2 running there doesn't seem to be any issues.

I rebooted my computer and am now able to play the beta. I did have Chrome open when I first got the error message but I can play with it open now so it doesn't have anything to do with that browser.
