First of all, i never played first POE, only wached a little bit. In POE2 i wanna start as Corpse Eater / Soul Blade with two handed weapon. And my struggle is how i will spend started points for Attributes. i like Might for damage and fortitude, Intelligence for bigger aoe from Barbarian's passive and most importantly to use Int in dialogues, and Perceptions for accuracy and also for non-combat uses in dialogues. But i don't know if i can divide points between them and don't get in situation where i will bad at each of them. Or i should stick to 2 attributes to use their full potential in dialogues? and will my decision to ignore constitution make my character squishy?

For Skills, i think get full in mechanics to be able to open chests and disarm traps without changing character each time. i think, alchemy, explosions and sleight of hand are useful and fun skills too, but i think they will be fine for companions.

And for the last, passive skills all looks very good, but i don't know how many of them i can take without straggling in all of them.

also, i heared in first game to find hidden items you needed mechanics and scout/stealth mode, is this same in 2nd game?

I know, we don't have all information right now to be sure for sure, but if your expirience from poe1 or baker beta can assume how many attributes and skills i can take without straggleing in each of them, i'd like to hear your oppinion on this.

p.s i will not play on POTD, so a little lack of combat min/maxing for my character i can compensate with OP companions.

thanks for your attention.

I did some thinking about a barbarien/cipher here.

Corpse eater seems nice RP wise, but game mechanics wise its terrible. Each ability costs 1 rage more and you can eat a fallen enemy to regain 3 rage. I think you can eat corpses twice per encounter, each eating gives you 3 rage back and it takes forever. The biggest problem is that you need to kill enemies first before you can eat them. It is better to use your rage for killing as many enemies as possible ( with the lower cost you can use them more often) and if something is still alive after this you finish them with auto attacks.

Berserker is the best barbarien class, but you have to deal with your confusion. Barbarien without subclass would be the second choice, the rest is terrible.

Remember that you also are a soul blade. If you use their special attack, your weapon damage of this attack generates focus which is immidiately consumed to cause raw damage. That means you should not wait for max focus before using it because this does not increase damage. So it might be a good idea to use soul annihilation every second attack. Your first attack is an attack that generates focus and your second attack generates more focus and uses it to cause more damage. ( unless you want want to cast a spell of course. )

regarding the other stuff:

- I am not sure about stats myself.

- We do not know the final talent trees yet.

- Tons of things will be changed when the game gets released.

Thank you, on wiki corpse eating ability don't have 'cast' time, i thought it instant or very fast. If it's very long prossess so, yea... useless ability then.

Am i understand it right, Confusion should be applied by enemies to force Berserker deal aoe damage to allies or it's self-permanent debuff for this sub-class? some races have resistances to afflictions, it might help with confusion.

Maybe will play safe and won't choose sub-class for Barbarian.
