Character keeps trying to reload pistol after shoot in sword/pistol style even in melee range

As topic, it is very annoying that my character keeps trying to reload pistol after shoot in sword/pistol style, even in melee range, he cannot smartly switch to melee and insist on reloading his pistol...

Thanks for your post. We have the issue with melee and guns in our system already and are evaluating how the weapons will work together.
