Havent been able to find information when shipping of physical rewards will happen. Will it arrive close to release?

Yup, on Launch Day mate !

Don't know if this says much, but my Guidebook for first PoE arrived a few days before release date. 

 

However that was when PoE had a different publisher, so no guarantee this new publisher will manage physical goodies as well. But I sure hope so! Getting the Guidebook before the game launched had been wonderful. Really sweetened the wait for the game's launch.
