Should I start a new game? Could use some advice

So I heard back in November some people on Mac/Linux and one Windwos GoG user were having the pink squares/gear issue with the White March.  I started a new game in early December and am picking it back up at the start of chapter two.  I am a Windows 7 Steam User.  I am not sure if I started this game before the 3.07 patch but I heard a good way to avoid this issue if it exists is to start a new save.  I cant check prior saves cause the only 4 I have are ToI runs and all finished at the end of the game.  I cant go back.  

 

I know its impossible for you guys to tell but given what you know of my version should I start all over for a full play through or just pick up at Chapter Two.

 

Could I go to my old saves and check the WM gear that my characters have?  If they have pink textures I will know that I have to start over?

My advice: You're early enough that starting over is slightly annoying vs "FORGET THIS ****!"
