December 26, 20178 yr Platform: PC User: atwarner #9699 Scenario: Haunted Past Party: Valeros [Armored Alt] (Farmhouse), Sajan (City Gate), Amiri (Town Square), Tontelizi (Mercenary Den), Seelah (City Gate) Difficulty: Normal Not sure if this has to do with the Armored Alt or not, but Valeros encountered Spurned Farmer's Daughter at the Farmhouse. January 3, 20188 yr Can confirm. Non-alt Valeros at the farmhouse. He has +4 (+2 for Diplomacy, plus another +2 invested). She has vs 9 (7 +2 for hired hands defeated). No bonus anywhere.

January 4, 20188 yr Interesting... maybe Valeros does not have enough will power unless someone is watching Good find. Have to check this with pairs if that is the case or not...
January 5, 20188 yr I let Lem encounter her first. He succeeded the check and closed the location. She escaped to another location that had been cleared but not closed. Valeros then went to that location and encountered her. The bonus was there. So... The bonus isn't dependent upon there being another party member at the location when Val encounters her. The bonus isn't dependent upon it being the first time *anyone* encounters her. Therefore, the next step will be to rule out whether or not it's there the first time Valeros encounters her, but not the second.
January 5, 20188 yr So weird. Juggled things so that Valeros encountered her at the City Gates, then left the Farmhouse open so that she could escape there. Both times he encountered her alone. Both times he got the bonus. I’m out of ideas.
