Methods attempted so far:

 

Healing Poultice on Merisiel

Kyra's Purge Undead/Outsider

Kyra's Heal power

Kyra using Cure spell card

 

In none of these cases were any cards transferred from the discard pile.

Didn't work in Haunted Past, but does work in Drunken Brawl.

 

On a whim, I went back and played through Haunted Past again (same party, difficulty, etc). Working this time.

 

*shrugs*

The healing has an habbit of Turning off, Turning on... So there is a tricker that causes the healing to flip off.

My best ques so far is off turn healing, but even that does not always turn healing of. I now use only on turn healing and everything has gone fine, but maybe I have just been lucky. But have been trying to see pattern ever since.

 

All in all wault trip sometimes remedies this, so really weird stuff indeed.

Just encountered this in RotR. Kyra vs a Hell Hound (Outsider). Defeats the enemy and Purge Outsider should kick in, but doesn't.

For what it's worth, the Heal Bug had a resurgence around the same time as the Valeros Recharge Bug and similar issues.  

 

It was working okay a couple months back, but might have been caught up in recent recharge-related problems.
