I managed to get Eder on to my team but now I'm trying to get to Caed Nur. I clicked to exit the guilded vale but cannot click on Caed nur, why is this? I can only click on Valewood or Cilant Lis. Why do they have to make everything so confusing?

Because if you have not been there before you actually have to travel across each map between you and the destination. So to get to caed nua you have to go through either margans fork or esternwood. then travel to the black meadow. Then go to caed nua. To figure out where you can travel you need to go to each exist on a map (north, south, east, weast) and leave the map and usually a new map will open up to travel to.

Once you travel to a map then you can fast travel there without going across each map

You're not familiar with BG, I can tell.

Explore all the exits: north, south, east, west. This is the way to unlock a neighbouring location.

You have to travel through some locations in-between Gilded Vale and Caed Nua.

It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...

I thought I had tried this already but you have to go to the correct side of the map to travel in that direction. The map alters depending on what side of the current place you are at.
