Ebon Thorn vanishes weapon.

Kyra facing Myriana. Reveals Flaming Icy Axe. Reveals Ebon Thorn. Ebon Thorn switches check to Diplomacy, and Axe disappears, doesn't return when cancelled. A VRT returns the Axe to my hand.

So I'm trying to duplicate this issue, but after displaying Ebon thorn it switches to Diplomacy (which is annoying), but the axe goes back to the hand. What location are you in and what scenario?
