Hey, thought I'd throw this out there.

Anyone know of any spiritual successor to Railroad Tycoon 2?  (you're running a RR, but also trying to make yourself rich, and monopolize the market).

IMHO it's the best of the series.  I was hoping that Offworld Trading Co. would fill this niche - but it's a faster "match style" format vs. more of the longer RTS that RR Tycoon 2 was.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I like to play OpenTT. There are some industry mods that make it a really cool game. If you're looking for something more modern, try Transport Fever. Despite some flaws, I like it a lot too.

Parkitect and Planet Coaster, you can't go wrong with either but you'll need at least a somewhat beefy machine to run the latter.

Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother?

What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest.

Begone! Lest I draw my nail...
