Adragans can petrify for 15 seconds. And usually kills my solo monk within that time...

Any tricks or hints how to against Adragans?

Max your fortitude ( High con + High str + food bonus). Lvl up and come back later. Skip the encounter ( not a single adragan is mandatory ad i remember). Use some summon for distraction. Drink the yellow potion. Use the monk ability that halves the enemies buff duration. Permadisable them ( force of anguish, stunning strike, ecc). Confusion scroll. Paralyze scroll. Defence scroll. Be very lucky.

All of them work, some options may stack. :D

Scroll of Prayer against Imprisonment totally works. You will be immune for 27 seconds. You need Lore 10 - or Lore 8 and an item that gives you +2 Lore (like Argwe's Adra or Rundl's Finery or whatever). Or/and get some Lore bonus via resting.

Aila Braccia also work against  Lagufaeth lowguns and things like Cleansing Flame - maybe it also works against he petrify-spell of Andragans? Would be awesome...

Besides that: what Dr. Love said. :)

I bet that gaze of the adragan is an aoe effect instead than a target specific effect, but i never tested it. Can be a good Plan if It works.

The wizard spell is AoE, true. But the stuff Adragans so has a lot longer duration than the wizard spell and I did not experience that an Adragan petrified more than one party member at a time. So... maybe?
