Persona 5

Is anyone playing (or planning to play) Persona 5 when it comes out?

 

It’s been out since September last year in Japan, so I’ve finished it long ago, but now it’s coming out in the West, so all of a sudden the internets are getting excited about it.

 

I can confirm it’s a great game, and would love to know what you guys think.

I regret to say I'm going to miss the launch. Between Nier, Horizon, and Torment I simply don't have time for it. Given how big a fan I am of the last two I'll certainly buy it at launch, but I won't be playing for another month or two.

Me too, I'll buy it but It'll have to wait until I am done with Nier, Torment and some other games.

I'll be picking it up straight away. Can't wait! The only thing I'm unsure about is whether I should go for the Japanese audio or stick with the English dub.

If I have the option, I usually go for Japanese audio with English subtitles. So you know what's going on but keep the original flavor.

Agreed. Can always switch to English second playthrough.

 

How does it compare to Persona 4? Any favourite characters? It'll take a lot to trump Chie.
