January 11, 20179 yr Under powers the first part of the text reads, "For your combat check, reveal this card to use your Strength or Melee skill +1d10+1. If proficient with weapons, the difficulty of this check is increased by 4." Should the last line start " If not proficient with weapons," Or am I just understanding it wrong? I do have a screen of it but I could not post it yet. Thanks for the help.
January 11, 20179 yr Not a typo. It's an intentional reversal of the typical proficiency bonus, strictly for flavour. The Horsechopper does not behave as someone who knows what they're doing with weapons would expect it to, making it harder for them to use. That's goblin craftsmanship for ya. January 11, 20179 yr Yeah, you DO need to read the description closely. It's a GREAT weapon for someone who has STR but does not have the Melee Proficiency! Some of my Youtube Classic Roland MT-32 Video Game Music videos | My Music | My Photography
January 11, 20179 yr Author Well, that's a different take on a weapon that I haven't seen in a long time. Thanks for the help. Flux
