November 14, 20169 yr I saw that and assumed it's intentional. It matches the Aid card, so I assume Improved Aid and Greater Aid are just supposed to be benefits for people who get access to the cards through treasure chests. PFID-F5D45B8AF20421AC

In general, a spell's (and most items) recharge check is +2 to its check to acquire. If that's not the case with one of the spells you quote - it may very well be a bug (this was widespread with all the treasure Orbs and Falsks, but now they seem to have been corrected). You might consider posting this in Technical Support forum. You can use the 'Mark Solved' button beneath a post that answers your topic or confirms it's not a bug. The time that devs don't have to spend on the forum is a time they can spend on fixing the game.
