When to add Treasure card

If you are purchasing cards from a Treasure chest, are they added when you BEGIN a new scenario? Or can you be in the middle of a scenario, and those cards will be added to it? Just curious when is the best time to do this.

It's added when you begin a new scenario. I'm pretty sure upon starting a scenario, it builds the decks right then.

The scenario Vault is generated at the beginning of each game session.  A number of random treasure cards get added to the Vault in the beginning of the game, and then the game may randomly select from them to build the location decks.  Not every treasure card has a chance to be found in every scenario.

 

The Vault also doesn't change mid-game.  If you were to acquire new Treasure cards while you had a scenario saved in the background, then you won't have a chance to possibly find it until the next scenario.
