I have a druid and a priest both with lore 8 but scrolls won't cast. It shows the scrolls icon and it looks like they are going to cast it but then they decide to attack. I don't have any class based AI as i prefer to decide when to cast spells but I have defensive set for the second AI option.

Could it be that they were interrupted by an enemy? With scrolls and consumables in particular they tend to then start attacking rather than trying to cast/consume again.

No, it is only some scrolls and turning ai off doesn't matter. also nothing hits them to distract them.

@Arnold Please name the scrolls and better attach a savegame. As „some scrolls“ is not very helpful for Sking to understand what you mean.
