Lost my first attack against Barl. Lost all my hand, reset then went at him again.

Best him with a 32 against his 21.

Then it displays, discard 10 damage.

That doesn't seem fair.

Evill Villains does not play fair!

Yep sound a bug to me.

Actually, I think it wasn't.

This was the first time I fought him, in RL or Digital. 

I think after a second, and a third try, what happened was I thought the reset after the first check was damage.

Now I realize he saves all his damage until after the checks.

Is this correct?

Outch! If it is so... Have to check the physical version...

 

"Barls game text is

combat 17 or fortitude 12

then combat 21

 

After the first check, discard 1 random card from your hand, then reset your hand.

Damage dealt by Barl is dealt to each character in this location.

All damage dealt by Barl is Fire damage."

 

The damage should not be saved after checks I think...
