Because The blessings deck running out does not cause a defeat in this scenario, the forfeit button doesn't always cause a loss, if you already rescued enough allies.

This is a known exploit; the developers have already been made aware of it, and the moderators have deleted the details from the other posts in which it appears so that people don't take advantage of it.
