I've just installed the game for the first time today on my MacBook Pro.  After the game launches and I get the choice between playing the game or the White March DLC.  If I choose the game, then I see the Obsidian splash screen and the opening menu.  Unfortunately, the opening menu is missing all of its text fields and instead I see "*Missing Gui <some number>*" for every field.  I tried uninstalling and redownloading the game, but the behavior is the same.

Thanks,

You probably need to choose the Expansion option, since that's the version you have.

Hey rjeberhard,

Welcome to the forums. It appears you are missing some files. If you are on Steam, go to you Library and right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

If you are using GOG Galaxy, verify/repair. If its just GOG, then you will need to uninstall and reinstall the game using the full installers.

Thanks!
