rochambeaux Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I have 3 android devices that I plan on playing PA on. I've noticed that even though they all use the same Google Account and Google Play sign in, it treats my progress independently. However, the store purchases appear across each one the same. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
Hannibal_PJV Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 This is what it is suposed to be at this moment. Gold and purhases Are stored in the servers, so They Are shared. Characters and partys Are stored locally to devices and Are not shared at this moment. The full sharing is coming, but how Many months it will take has not been revealed.
rochambeaux Posted May 1, 2016 Author Posted May 1, 2016 Does anyone have a work around? If I have to replay the "prologue" again I'll gouge my eyes out.
PinkRose Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 You could probably find the files on the devices and copy/paste them to the other devices or set up an auto upload/download to/from Dropbox or Drive.
Hannibal_PJV Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 If you do this. Keep some old saves separate. Because if something goes wrong with one device, you don't have start From the Beginning with all devices.
Smakx Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I did some searching, and on android the save files are located here: /sdcard/Android/data/net.obsidian.pacg1/files/PACG1_SAVE_GAMES/ In that folder you will find subfolders named slot01, slot02, etc... I haven't actually tried copying save progress from one android device to another, but that is where the files are.

Is there a way to do this within Dropbox or does it require some kludging or another app(s)..

There is a free android app on the Google Play store called airdroid that makes it easy to copy files back and forth from the device to a pc over your wifi network. You just install airdroid on your android device and start the app, it gives you an ip address to type into the address bar of a web browser on your pc. The device makes a sound and you hit a button on it to approve the connection. Then in the web browser you have a file browser to browse the file system on the android device that allows you to upload and download files to and from it. Edited May 2, 2016 by Smakx 1
