Hi,

 

Aloth can only lay one trap at a time. If he lays a second, the first one disappears. Should I be holding down a key on my keyboard when putting down second/third traps or is it one only!?

You can lay down only one trap per character.

    Not sure if it's still the case in 3.x, but wards count as traps as well.
