Drachenwulf
so I am going to have a MC Rogue with a shield, and eder so far for a front line; for other companions I will have durance, Aloth, Grieving Mother, and Sagani. should I replace any of them with Pellagina? (I like GM for the debuffs she has a lot that can enable sneak attack. and should I have 2 plus itunak or 3 plus itunak in the front rank? if 3 who should be the third? Mocker22
I would say you need another tank. Itumaak is def not a tank, and even using a shield to get some defenses, your rogue would be better suited to flanking not tanking. I've never liked GM so I'm biased, but both are fine to keep. If you want dps keep Sagani, if you want more CC, keep GM imo.
KDubya
I'd trade Durance or Aloth for Pellagrina. Paladins are great team players and her new abilities are pretty cool. Plus with LoH she can keep itumaak alive longer. With the new level seven ability Persistent Distraction your Rogue can set up their own Deathblows merely by flanking the target. Your shield will give you enough deflection to survive in melee while you flank and spank with +150% damage adders. With this you don't need to cause additional effect, just battlefield positioning. Boeroer
If your rogue puts on the Cloak of the Master Mystic (+12 deflection, invisible after getting a crit) and takes Backstab and wears a large shield (rogues can afford that with Reckless & Deflecting Assault) he will be good in the front line. He can reach an absurd reflex score this way so maybe even Adept Evasion is worth it. It's still a good tactic to flank with the other tank of course like KDubya said. Braven
I was never a huge fan of Eder as a conversationalist and the paladin can serve a very similar role as him and also passively buff everyone else and has great party abilities. If you want less micro management, keep the fighter and cut out the ranger or cipher. To optimally use ranger, you have to pay close attention to ensure they are attacking the same enemy, pet is flanking, and so forth. And another body to keep track of. Though, she will do fine even without those synergies. I also found I often didn't use my ciphers focus optimally with a full party. If you don't use a Mage/priest spell, though, it is not a big deal since they are per rest. Though ciphers are really good anyways just auto attacking if you forget. So I guess it doesn't really matter. With a full party, the game is super easy, so it is more about which characters you personally like the best. I'm having a lot of fun with Hiravias as stelgaer shift + outlander frenzy. Although it seems you have to cast the frenzy first. That then maybe stacks with cat's frenzy 33% attack speed. Producing a cat death ball. The AI also now has a script to auto activate shapeshift if in melee range/engaged. I'm beginning to prefer self buff type duration abilities, since they don't require saves against enemy defenses. Much more predictable. Aloth is still level 3-4, so no minor blights yet. No staff spell yet either even.
