Another question I meant to bring up was item storage. Are there only specific places you can store items? I ask because I spent some time in the Caed Nua library organizing all the books I picked up and then when I went back a while later, the room had reset and they were all gone. I wasn't sure if that's always the case or it is tied into the bugs my game is suffering from (detailed here: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/84708-the-great-reset/). Any insight is welcome.

This was most likely due to that bug you are experiencing. Does it still happen if you load up an older save? 

Whoops. Belatedly seeing this. Unfortunately the nature of my saves and when I did all the book storage is such that I can not check.
