Since you mentioned Orlan, Hearth Orlans are an excellent choice. Minor Threat works perfectly with the Rogue's damage dealing capabilities.

Jup - nearly all my rogues used to be hearth orlan. 30% hit to crit conversion when flanking is just too good in early- and midgame.
