The AI is so stupid ... it doesn't understand engagement at all.

Is this a new change in 3.0?

I don't remember that it has happened so often in 2.03 when I gave the AI options a try for my TC playthrough. Or maybe I didn't notice because I paused the game during combat too often anyway?

There are enemies nearby, and they targetable ... and still the AI decides to have my aggressive monk and rogue run away in a large circle trying to reach a completely different enemy. It even triggers disengagement attacks. Why don't they attack the nearest target?

I don't mind switching off AI again ... but hey, come on, an aggressive monk and a dual-wielding rogue are killing machines that finish enemies quickly. No reason to seek out a possible easier target first.
