Hi.

Having trouble launching the game. Get the gauntlet icon and a black screen, but then nothing. If I click the mouse the screen goes grey and it tells me the game isn't responding, wait or close. Waiting does nothing and closing takes ages.
Even when it's closed the game appears to be running in Steam and if I try to do anything to remedy this, such as task manager, it locks up my whole computer.

I have verified files in Steam.

I have deleted and reinstalled.

I have attempted to load game outside of steam. Using the launch icon from file results in the same issue, but doesn't lock my computer up in the same way.

Thanks

It's worse.  Steam lists PoE as 'Windows, Mac, SteamOS/Linux' compatible, but when I try to install the game it says that it is incompatible with my OS.

I've demanded a refund of the DLC that I bought.  We will see what happens, whether Valve removes the SteamOS/Linux tag from the game or if they fix the install issue.

When you uninstalled the game, did you do also delete the Pillars folder in the Steam directory on your hard drive?

Yes, the DLC works on all those platforms. You are the first to report on this issue, what version of Linux are you using?

I didn't remove the steam file. I have now. Should that help?
