This strategy is getting old for me lol.. anyone else got some fun tactical strategy to share?

What about just bum rush into the room and kill them all as they come at you? It works for me.

Have a wiz, druid, cipher, and priest in the party. March at enemy. Druid and cipher cast large-area debuffs, priests casts suitable buff, when they bite, wiz casts AoE damage targeting debuffed defence. Mop up with fighter and paladin, cipher's ranged attacks, and more AoE damage. Faster than holding a choke point (although that's necessary sometimes too).

I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com

obviously if u got a lot of spells and willing to spend it there is very little tactics needed.

if u are fighting with just per encounter spells pre level 9 using the door choke point is probably the eaisest way to control the enemies.

Yeah, I actually tend to put stealth on my characters so I can sneak -into- a room, so not to get the idiot enemy AI stuck in a doorway. Likes me a fair fight, and all that.
