This is a feature that has been requested multiple times before (e.g. here and here.)

With WM2 being the end of the PoE I figured this issue requires a definitive address from the devs. Personally I think freedom to customize is pretty integral to a modern RPG experience. And it should be integrated into PoE if we want it to be remembered for the best version possible.

Seems like people who oppose the idea don't want enchantment to be in the game in the first place. And people who do enchant would rather have the option than not. And since we probably aren't going to remove enchantment whatsoever, might as well go ahead and make enchantments overidable.

Would appreciate a dev response / update on the design meeting where this was supposedly brought up.

I would definitely like an overwrite feature if only that.

But I would really like to see a more refined robust system be put back in game.

I would like this too.  Or least allow to upgrade attribute bonuses to their higher counterparts if there's enough free enchantment slots.  Fine can become Exceptional can become Superb, so why can't Might 1 become Might 2?

Yeah, I'm in favor.  Makes more sense than the way it is now.

Hello everyone,

I agree with all of you and have already put in a suggestion for the dev team.

Thank you for your support.

Thanks Aarik!
