Hey guys, I saw these videos linked in another thread a while ago and have been watching them as they come out ever since. I just wanted to give them a topic of their own because they are fantastic and the bloke churning them out really deserves all the views he can get.

Yes his accent is pretty thick but don't let that put you off there is so much great, thoroughly researched information here.

I went through a lot of his build videos, they provide some good experimental data and theories for new concepts I've used. I would have had to go through a lot of personal testing using many many custom characters, to get the same results as his work. The glories of the internet. Don't even have to pay 5 dollars to a phone hotline tip service.

In his Cipher video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdAfnEqgdQU&list=PL4UqltmSKaEeCbgMY7nx2U0kngJ77wwhX&index=3

he gets Soul Ignition wrong.

It is DoT spell, which means it gets reduced by DR only once*, not every tick, unlike periodical damage spells like Echo. Sure, it's not better than Echo but it's quite solid pick.

*For example 80 DoT damage vs 10 DR = 70 total damage dealt. This 70 dmg is split in chunks.

Vancian =/= per rest.

Anyone know how lash effects get reduced from DR?

25% of a 10 dmg hit seems to be about 2.5, but it's not exactly 2.5

Min max?

Paladin with pike and 3 res? He got the min part covered well.

The max? Not so much
